Verifying Your PSU Device OS

The Office of Information Technology (OIT) runs monthly updates to ensure that your PSU device is up to date. This process helps ensure the security of your system as well as its ability to work seamlessly with our PSU devices. If after running through these steps, your Operating System does not match with that which is listed, please visit the PSU Help Center at go.pdx.edu/help or contact the Helpdesk.

Verifying WinOS

Check the following steps to ensure that your Operating System is up to date:

  1. Select the Start Button
  2. Within the Start Menu, select Settings
  3. In the Settings menu select System
  4. Select About
  5. Under Windows Specifications find the current version

Verifying MacOS

Check the following steps to ensure that your Operating System is up to date:

  1. In the top menu bar select Apple Menu
  2. Within the window select About This Mac

In the same window you will find the most current MacOS version which are:

Click on the version number to see the Build Number.
