Part-time faculty and staff may request a license by submitting an OAM Access Request (OAR request). Other PSU-affiliated users who do not have a formal employee or student relationship with the university and who need access to Microsoft Office on a personal device to perform their PSU duties, may request a license by obtaining an affiliate faculty or staff Odin account and Affiliate account, then submitting an OAM Access Request (OAR request).

Alternatively, if an employee needs access to Microsoft Office 365 for personal use, they can visit the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program Pagepage to purchase a discounted subscription.

NOTE: Once you confirm eligibility by using your PSU email, a personal email is required to apply the discount. PSU accounts are not eligible for Employee Discountsemployee discounts.

Download the Software

  1. Visit the Microsoft account portal and sign in using your @pdx.edu email.

  2. Select Work or school account.

  3. Enter Sign in using your Odin username and password on the Portland State University Single Sign-On page. account.

  4. Select Install Office, then select Other install options from the menu.

  5. Select Install Office.

  6. Follow the on-screen directions to complete the installation on your computer.
