Free

Can be installed for faculty, staff, and students working on research projects with faculty. Students must be sponsored by a faculty member. The sponsoring faculty member must complete the Software install request form on the student’s behalf.

Atlas.ti

Free / Vendor charge

Students and faculty can access PSU’s pool of Atlas.ti licenses for free. Visit Access Atlas.ti at PSU for details.

Alternatively, students may purchase directly from the vendor on the Atlas.ti Student Licenses page.

AutoCAD

Free

Students can download and install this software themselves through the Autodesk site.

ChemDraw

Vendor charge

Students can download and install this software themselves through the Revvity Signals site.

Maple

Vendor charge

Student discounts available from Maplesoft.

Matlab

Vendor charge

Purchase from vender. In limited cases it ca be installed for faculty, staff, and students working on research projects with faculty. Student must be sponsored by faculty. Students must be sponsored by faculty member (who should fill out the Software install request form on their behalf).

MathCAD

Free in the VLAB

MathCAD is not currently available for purchase through the OIT Helpdesk but it is available for use in the Virtual Computer Lab (VLAB).

SAS

Free

Students can download and install the University version of SAS through the SAS site.

SPSS

Vendor charge

Students may purchase directly from OnTheHub or an authorized student and faculty license distributor.
