This article describes how to connect to the PSU Secure wireless (Wi-Fi) network on campus with your Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

    The SSL certificate used for PSU Secure expires after one year, so you will need to repeat this process on your devices each year to trust the new certificate.

    1. From your Home screen, go to to Settings  > > Wi-Fi.

    2. Turn on Wi-Fi.
      Your device will automatically search for available Wi-Fi networks.

    3. Select the the PSU Secure network network.

    4. Enter your Odin username and password, then tap tap Join.

    5. On the Certificate screen, tap tap Trust.

    Your username and password are now saved and you should be connected to the PSU Secure wireless network.

    Note

    If If Not Trusted is displayed on displayed on the Certificate screen, you can verify the security of the network by tapping tapping More Details.

    • Scroll to the bottom of the Details screen to view the SHA-1 fingerprint, a unique identifier that confirms the identity of a network.

    • If the fingerprint matches the following series of numbers and letters, you can trust it is the PSU Secure network:   f4 1c 4e ac 8f 67 0d b1 19 d3 72 6e bb 1f 34 5c 61 51 2f bc

    Troubleshooting PSU Wireless Network Issues

    Remove any other existing PSU wireless connections from your device. 

    1. From your Home screen, navigate to to Settings > Wi-Fi.

    2. Tap the Info icon to the right of a PSU network you have tried using in the past.

    3. Tap Tap Forget this Network.

    4. Repeat this process for any PSU networks you have attempted to use in the past.

    5. Try once again to connect to the PSU Secure network.

    • If your device still won’t connect to the PSU Secure network, try try restarting your iOS device. After you restart your device, attempt to connect to the PSU Secure network.

    • If you are still encountering issues, reset your Network Settings. Tap Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you’ve used before.
