Banner is the university’s secure database that processes and stores administrative information such as enrollment, grades, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial aid.
Administrative access to Banner forms for data entry and querying is restricted to employees with job responsibilities requiring such access.
Using Banner
Access Banner with RemoteApp
The bestWith your browser of choice (except Internet Explorer), go to Banner (banner.pdx.edu) and sign in using your Odin username and password.
An alternative way to access Banner is through RemoteApp. RemoteApp is quick to set up, and allows you to run Banner
through your favorite browser, or even from your Start Menu.more efficiently from older machines, such as computers with less than 16GB of RAM. RemoteApp can be useful for people who are using a computer not managed by OIT. For more information on using RemoteApp,

Access Banner without RemoteApp
Windows
Using Internet Explorer, go to Banner and sign in using your Odin credentials.
macOS
- Using Safari, go to Banner for Macs.
- Select "Click to use Java."
- If prompted, select "Use every time."
- Sign in using your Odin credentials.
- If the page doesn't load, press Command + R to reload.
Requesting Banner Access
University employees may request
/or modify their access to Banner
, Banweb or DataMASTER accessby submitting
aa Role-Based Access Request (RBAR).
