Service accounts are non-individual accounts created for uses PSU faculty or staff, to be used for purposes such as departmental email. Service accounts only have access to PSU Gmail. They do not have access to Google Drive, Groups, or other standard PSU G Suite apps.

Create a service accountTo request a Service account, use the Shared email or service account form. All Service accounts require a primary and secondary owner. Delete a service accountTo delete a Service account, use the Shared email or service account form. Add or remove delegatesOIT does not provide the password for service accounts; you must be added as a delegate to have access. The owner of the service account will be added as a delegate automatically. You also have the option of adding other delegates to the account. Changes to delegates can take up to twenty minutes.
