There are two general types of phone sets available from our Avaya PBX phone system: analog and digital. Digital sets are characterized by a digital display that is located in the top section of the phone set. They also tend to have more buttons that can be programmed for specific uses. Analog sets are simpler than digital sets. They have few if any programmable buttons and lack a digital display.
We are decommissioning our Avaya PBX phone system and have been migrating folks to Google Voice where a traditional desk phone is not required. We deploy Polycom VVX-250 phones for folks that require a desk phone.
