If you choose to purchase a model of computer that is not listed in OIT's Computer Hardware Standards, requests for assistance with your non-standard computer will be subject to a $150 fee for each support incident that requires your computer is checked into the Helpdesk. This fee helps to offset the increased labor and time costs that OIT incurs when supporting non-standard computers at PSU. The fee covers common support requests like:
