Two general types of phone sets are available from Telecommunication Systems (TS): analog and digital. Digital sets are characterized by a digital display located in the top section of the phone set. They also tend to have more buttons that can be programmed for specific uses. Analog sets are simpler than digital sets. They have few if any programmable buttons and lack a digital display.
