Technology Coordinators help to ensure their department has access to OIT’s telecom and network services and equipment. Your Technology Coordinator can request services for your department, and has the fiscal authority to initiate and approve department expenditures that create one-time, recurring, or usage charges on University accounts.

Repair an Existing Telephone Line

Any faculty or staff member can submit repair requests using the Phone or voicemail problem request form in the PSU Help Center.

Contact Your Department’s Technology Coordinator

Contact your department’s Telecom Coordinator to request other telecommunication services. Your Telecom Coordinator will use the TC Service Desk in the PSU Help Center to submit requests on your behalf.

Become a Technology Coordinator

While most departments designate one staff member to be their Telecom Coordinator, some groups designate a backup for when their primary Technology Coordinator goes on vacation or is not available.

To become a Technology Coordinator, send an email to help-tdc@pdx.edu including the following information:

  • Name of your department head

  • Your department’s index codes

It may take up to 15 business days after receipt of your request to have access granted. We recommend that you request a training session with us if you haven't performed these duties before.
