Introduction

The CRM Team would like to extend a warm welcome to join an expanding group of CampusNexus CRM (Talisma) users at Portland State!

Talisma CRM is a robust tool which will allow for providing the best possible support to current and prospective students. There is a lot of information available via Talisma. Some of this information, or data, is imported from other sources - such as Banner - and some of this data is entered by the CRM user.  The success of a CRM system relies upon your use of it! The quality and consistency of user efforts ensures the integrity of the data and ensures that other users of Talisma can support our students best!

If questions come up or additional Talisma training/coaching is required, please don't hesitate to work with a more expert colleague or reach out to our team for assistance.

University Policies

Policy for Mass Communication

Currently, there is no formal University wide policy for sending out mass communications.  Historically, there have been efforts to put a policy in place.  However, consensus has not been reached and at this time, and work on this effort have stalled.  A Communications Workgroup Proposal on mass email communications has been drafted, but no further action has been taken.

Getting Started

Mailing Lists

Ensure that team staff are on the appropriate CampusNexus CRM (Talisma) mailing list.  Let our team know who should be on the Notify list, or have them add themselves.

User Accounts

During Team set up and Roll-out, initial user accounts will be set up for the team.  To add additional staff members after roll-out, please use the use the Talsima CRM Account Request Form to request a new Talisma CRM account.
