Restore a File From Your H or I Drive

If you have modified or accidentally deleted a file or folder from your H Drive or the I Drive, it may be possible to restore it using the Previous Versions feature on a Windows device. Previous Versions is a short-term backup of the files and folder stored on your H Drive and the I Drive.

Restore a File or Folder Using Previous Versions in Windows

  1. Select and hold (or right-click) the H or I Drive folder that contained the file or folder you want to restore and select Properties.

  2. Go to the Previous Versions tab.

  3. In the list of folder versions, choose the date and time you want to restore.

  4. Select Open to open the version of the file or folder you’ve selected or select Restore to overwrite the current version with the previous version.

We recommend that you open the file or folder you want to restore and make sure it is the version you want before you perform a restore.
