Use H and I Drives on Windows
You must connect to PSU’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) to access your H Drive or the I Drive from off campus.

Map the H and I Drives
The H and I Drives are automatically mapped on PSU-owned Windows computers.
If you are using a PSU-owned computer, VLAB, or the Employee Virtual Desktop and your H Drive or the I Drive is not there, use the Drive Map tools in Self-Service Software to automatically re-map the missing drive(s).
Follow these steps to manually map your H Drive or the I Drive on a personal computer.
If you are not on campus, connect to PSU’s Virtual Private Network (VPN).
Map a network drive in Windows.
In the Folder box, enter the address of the drive you want to map.
Select Connect using different credentials.
Enter your Odin username and password when prompted.
Use the format PSU\YourOdinUsername in the User name box.
Access the H and I Drives
In the folder pane, expand This PC.
Select the drive you want to open.
Check Your H Drive Usage
Once you've mapped your H drive to your computer, you can use the following steps to check your available free space.
In the folder pane, expand This PC.
Select and hold (or right-click) your H Drive and select Properties.

Troubleshooting
Windows cannot access ... Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network.
Verify you are connected to the PSU network in one of these ways:
PSU’s Virtual Private Network (VPN)
An active network jack on campus using an Ethernet cable, not in student housing.
If you are using a network jack in student housing, connect to PSU’s VPN first.
Check for typos in the drive address you entered in the Folder box when mapping the drive.
Windows cannot access ... You do not have permission to access ... Contact your network administrator to request access.
You might not have access to the resource you’re trying to map. If you’re sure you should have access, check the following:
Verify you are entering your Odin username and password correctly and that you are using the format PSU\YourOdinUsername for your Odin username.
Check for typos in the drive address you entered in the Folder box when mapping the drive.
