Find Your Computer's Name
Follow the instructions below to locate your computer's name.
macOS
Select Command (⌘)+Spacebar to bring up Spotlight Search.
Enter terminal in the field and select Return. A Terminal window will open. Your computer's name will appear before your username on the last line.
Windows 10
If using a mouse Right-click the Start menu, or use Shift F10 on your keyboard to select the Start menu.
Select System. Your computer's name will be listed under the heading "Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings."
Windows 11
If using a mouse Right-click the Start menu, or use Shift F10 on your keyboard to select the Start menu.
Select System. Your computer’s name will be listed in the Device specifications section in the Device name row.
