Proxy Access to Student Pages

When using Banweb (our information system that provides access to student records, student account, grades, and financial aid information), you can grant proxy access to your account to another user.

Note: Providing a user with Proxy access allows that user to view your student records and other personal information. If there is no Consent to Release Non-Directory Information on file for the user given the access, support staff will not be able to discuss the account with them.

This access, which gives the proxy user their own Username and Password, is initiated by the student through the following steps

Providing Proxy Access to your Student Page in Banweb

  1. Go to banweb.pdx.edu.

  2. Enter your account credentials:

    1. Current PSU staff, faculty, or student: Sign in using your Odin account username and password.

  3. Select the My Account tab.

  4. Select the Proxy Management link

  5. While on the Proxy Management Page select the Add New link.

  6. On the resulting screen, you will be asked to input the proxys' information, including name, email, start and stop date. There is an additional section where you will select which pages you will give your proxy access to.

  7. Select Submit

Once the student has submitted a request to have a proxy added three emails will be sent.

  • The first email will notify the proxy that the student has begun the process and will provide the url to begin the account set up.

  • The second email will provide a temporary password to use during the initial setup process.

  • The third email will provide a url to use to access banweb.pdx.edu once the username and password have been set. This email should be kept for future reference.
