Microsoft Office at PSU
The Microsoft Office suite (including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) is installed and available on all University workstations.
The suite is also available for free to active students, and most faculty and staff. After leaving PSU, access to the Microsoft Office suite is disabled.
PSU employees can visit the Microsoft Workplace Discount Program Page to purchase a discounted subscription to Microsoft Office 365 for personal use, which will remain active as long as the subscription is not canceled.
NOTE: Once you confirm eligibility by using your PSU email, a personal email is required to apply the discount. PSU accounts are not eligible for Employee Discounts.
Download the Software
Visit the Microsoft account portal and sign in using your @pdx.edu email.
On the Portland State University Single Sign-On page, enter your Odin username and password.
Select Install Office, then select Other install options from the menu.
Select Install Office.
Follow the on-screen directions to complete installation on your computer.
