Most PSU residence halls provide networking jacks for students who require a hard line connection to the network.
The red/orange jack is the data (internal) jack. The ivory jack (phone jack) and coaxial port are unused. Please note that jacks may vary.

Blumel
In Blumel, the active jacks are located in your bedroom and living rooms:
Floors 3 and 7: One orange jack is active in the bedroom and four jacks are active in a white box attached to your living room wall.
Floors 4-6 and 8-9: Your jacks are active on the bottom of a white box attached to the bedroom wall and one orange jack is active in your living room.
Broadway Housing
In Broadway, the active jacks should be in your front room, on the same side of your room as the door. One orange jack is active in a wall plate, or there are three jacks active on the bottom of a white box attached to the wall.
Epler Hall
In Epler Hall, the active voice jacks are located on either side of your front room. Apartments will have either a single orange jack or three jacks on the bottom of a white box.
Ondine
In Ondine, the active jacks should be in your main room. Apartments will have either a single orange jack, or three jacks on the bottom of a white box with an orange jack to the right.
Blackstone
In Blackstone, active jacks are only available on the first floor and should be in your front room. All other floors have wireless (Wi-Fi) connectivity only.
King Albert, Montgomery, and St. Helens
Some of the rooms in these buildings have networking jacks, but they are not currently active. These buildings have wireless (Wi-Fi) connectivity only.
