Map the H and I Drives

...

1. If you are not on campus, connect to PSU’s Virtual Private Network (VPN).

2. Map a network drive in Windows.

   1. In the Folder box, enter the address of the drive you want to map.

3. Enter your Odin username and password when prompted.

   • Use the format PSU\YourOdinUsername.

Troubleshooting

Windows cannot access ... Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network.

• Verify you are connected to the PSU network in one of these ways:

  • PSU’s Virtual Private Network (VPN)

  • The PSU Secure Wi-Fi network

  • An active network jack on campus using an Ethernet cable, not in student housing.

    • If you are using a network jack in student housing, connect to PSU’s VPN first.

• Check for typos in the drive address you entered in the Folder box when mapping the drive.

Windows cannot access ... You do not have permission to access ... Contact your network administrator to request access.
