DataMASTER reports draw information from a central Operational Data Store (ODS). The ODS warehouse is a large data repository accumulated from sources internal and external to Portland State University.

data sourcesSCARFThe Student Centralized Administrative Reporting File (SCARF) is a snapshot of Banner data, taken at the 4th week and end of each term, shaped by a script run on the Banner server. The script applies specific rules for consistent comparison across units within PSU, as well as external government agencies and universities. The data is managed by OIRP and stored in the DataMASTER ODS warehouse. CampusNexus CRM (formerly Talisma)Talisma is a vendor provided Customer Experience Management system. Talisma is used to contact both prospective and existing students. dataThe Viking Travel Site supports the PSU Community by providing authorization and reimbursements for travel. Portions of Viking travel data is captured via the OnBase system and sent to DataMASTER for audit reporting.
