Map the H and I Drives

Info

The H and I Drives are automatically mapped on PSU-owned Windows computers.

Note

If you are using a PSU-owned computer, VLAB, or the Employee Virtual Desktop and your H Drive or the I Drive is not there, use the Drive Map tools in Self-Service Software to automatically re-map the missing drive(s).

  1. If you are not on campus, connect to PSU’s Virtual Private Network (VPN).

  2. Map a network drive in Windows.

    1. In the Folder box, enter the address of the drive you want to map.

    2. Select Connect using different credentials.

  3. Enter your Odin username and password when prompted.

    • Use the format PSU\YourOdinUsername in the User name box.

Tip

The next time you sign in to your computer, you may get a message that Windows was unable to map one or more network drives. Connect to PSU’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) to solve this problem.
