You can use RemoteApp Employee Virtual Desktop on your Mac to access PSU enterprise applications such as CampusNexus CRM (Talisma) and OnBase either through your browser, or with the Microsoft Remote Desktop application. Instructions for both options are listed below.

If you plan to use Employee Virtual Desktop to access PSU enterprise applications frequently, consider using Option 2the Microsoft Remote Desktop application. While it requires a one-time setup process, the second option it provides you with easier ongoing access using Microsoft Remote Desktop.

Connect, and you can check the box beside "Don't ask me again for remote connections from this publisher" to avoid seeing this window again.
  • Open the file that you downloaded in step 3.

  • In the pop-up window that appears, enter your Odin username and password then select OK.

  • Option 2: Use RemoteApp with

    Use Employee Virtual Desktop with Microsoft Remote Desktop

    You can quickly launch PSU enterprise applications using using Microsoft Remote Desktop, after you have added those applications to a Remote Resources list. Follow the directions below to complete the one-time setup process.

  • Using Finder or Spotlight search, find and launch the Microsoft Remote Desktop application.
  • Select Remote Resources 

     (available in Self-Service Software). Note: In order to use Employee Virtual Desktop from off campus, you must first connect to the Virtual Private Network (VPN).

    1. Open the Microsoft Remote Desktop application.

    2. Select Workspaces from the options displayed in the

    1. window, then select Add Workspace.

    2. In the

     Remote Resources window, enter the following information:
    1. Email or workspace URL field, enter https://apps.oit.pdx.edu

    /RDWeb/Feed/webfeed.aspx
    1. then select Add.

    2. In the Enter Your User Account window, enter:

      • User name: psu\username (where username is replaced with your Odin username)

      • Password: Your Odin account

    's If you change your Odin password in the future, you will need to open Remote Resources again in order to update your password.

  • Select Refresh. A list of applications should appear in the Microsoft Remote Desktop window, under the heading Remote Resources.

  • Close the Remote Resources window. These PSU enterprise applications will now be available for you to quickly launch using the Microsoft Remote Desktop app.
    1. In the confirmation window that appears, select Finish.

    You can use RemoteApp the service with any modern browser, including Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. To use RemoteApp Employee Virtual Desktop with your browser, follow the steps belowNote:
