Self-Service Software - Software for PSU-Owned Computers

On PSU-owned computers, employees can download free software using the Self-Service Software application.

To browse a list of currently available software titles, follow the directions for your operating system below.

Note: The Self-Service Software application cannot be accessed from lab computers. To review a list of software currently installed on lab computers, refer to Lab and classroom software availability.

Using Self-Service Software

Software installations can take anywhere from several minutes to several hours to complete, depending on the size of the application you select.

Windows

  1. Select the Start button.

  2. In the Start menu, search for Self-Service Software and select it.

  3. Self-Service Software will open to the Applications tab. The window that opens will have the title Software Center.

  4. Search for the program you want to install and then select the Install button.

macOS

  1. On the upper right corner of the screen, open Spotlight Search.

  2. In the search box, type Self-Service and then select Self-Service from your search results.

  3. Enter your Odin username and password.

  4. Select the Install button for each program you want to install.
