Classroom AV

While there are multiple styles and iterations of classrooms with various AV technology, there are some common best practices to follow regardless of the room you are in. For a quick rundown of some helpful tips to get started, please refer to Classroom AV Tips for Instructors.

Base Classrooms

PSU’s General Pool Base Classrooms are equipped with all the essential technology needed for standard instruction. The Zoom desktop application is available for basic streaming and recording needs. For a comprehensive overview of the equipment and how to use it, please refer to the General Pool Base Classroom AV Guide. Inclusive Access Classrooms (IAC)

PSU’s Inclusive Access Classroom (IAC) equips instructors with the tools to capture the in-person classroom experience and offer digital access for remote or asynchronous learning. Cameras and microphones cover the classroom, while remote participants are able to be seen and heard in the physical classroom. Zoom Whiteboard is available to use from the podium touchscreen for more interactive, digital teaching experiences. These features offer flexibility for live, remote, and asynchronous attendance.

For a comprehensive overview of the equipment and how to use it, please refer to the Inclusive Access Classroom (IAC) Guide.

Conference Room AV

Conference room AV systems can be tailored to suit different room types and client requirements. For a overview, please refer to the Zoom Rooms for Conference Rooms Guide.
