Everyone with an Odin account is given storage space on PSU’s network, on the H and I Drives. On these drives, you can save and access files from on or off campus. The H Drive is intended for personal file storage, while the I Drive is a shared storage area used by staff and faculty departments.

Security and AccessH and I Drives are backed up every night and are a good place to store important files. If your computer’s hard drive ever crashes, its files may not be recoverable — but if you have copies of your most important files on a network drive, like the H or I Drive, they will be backed up. Access to the H Drive is automatically granted to every Odin account owner. I Drive access is granted by department resource managers via the I Drive Access form. Only resource managers can submit the I drive access form. If you are not a resource manager, you must ask a resource manager to submit a request for I Drive access on your behalf. Storage CapacityH DriveThe capacity of your H Drive is based on your role at the university.
Students or affiliates who run out of space on their drives will need to move or delete files. To check how much space you're currently using on your H Drive, follow the instructions on Use H and I Drives on Windows or Use H and I Drives on macOS. I DriveThe capacity of the I Drive varies per department. If you're doing work for a department, consult with your department about requesting access to the department’s I Drive.
