Everyone with an Odin account is given storage space on PSU’s network, on the H and I Drives. On You can use these drives , you can to save and access files from both on or and off campus. The H Drive is intended for personal file storage, while the I Drive is a shared storage area used by staff and faculty PSU departments.

Security and AccessH and I Drives are backed up every night and are a good place to store important files. If your computer’s hard drive ever crashes, its files may not be recoverable — but if you have copies of your most important files on a network drive, like the H or I Drive, they will be backed up. Access to the H Drive is automatically granted to every Odin account owner. I Drive access is granted by department resource managers via using the I Drive Access form. Only resource managers can submit the I drive access Drive Access form. If you are not a resource manager, you must ask a resource manager to submit a request for I Drive access on your behalf.complete the form on your behalf. Accessing the H and I DrivesYou can securely access your H Drive and the I Drive from any computer that is connected to the internet. Storage CapacityH DriveThe capacity of your H Drive is based on your role at the university.
Students or affiliates who If you are a student or affiliate and you run out of space on their drives your H Drive, you will need to move or delete files. To check how much space you're currently using on your H Drive, follow the instructions on Use H and I Drives on Windows or Use H and I Drives on macOS. I DriveThe capacity of the I Drive varies per department. If you're doing work for a department, consult with your department about requesting access to the department’s I Drive.
