Update Protections in Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

After you have enrolled in Duo Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), you can opt-in to additional protections for certain Portland State University services or systems.

Add Duo Protections

To add Duo protections to services or systems, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Odin Account Manager (OAM) at oam.pdx.edu.

  2. Select Update Duo Protections.

  3. Under Protect Services with Duo, check the box associated with the service or systems you would like to protect with Duo.

  4. Select Continue.

  5. In the resulting Successfully updated Duo protections dialog box, select OK.

Remove Duo Protections

To remove Duo protections from services or systems, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Odin Account Manager (OAM) at oam.pdx.edu.

  2. Select Update Duo Protections.

  3. Follow the prompts to confirm your Duo 2FA authentication.

  4. Uncheck the box associated with the service or systems you would like to remove Duo protections.

  5. Select Continue.

  6. In the resulting Successfully updated Duo protections dialog box, select OK.
