Email Access to Voicemail

PSU uses a voicemail system called CallXpress. With CallXpress, you can choose to receive voicemail messages by email using a feature called Unified Messaging.

To use Unified Messaging, submit a Phone or voicemail change request form through the PSU Help Center.

Unified Messaging

Unified Messaging allows you to have on-the-go access to retrieve and manage voicemails on your computer. When you request Unified Messaging, all of your voice messages will be sent as an attachment (in the .wav file format) to your email. You can listen to the messages using your computer’s speakers or headphones. The messages are not converted to text.

  • Once Unified Messaging is enabled, the light on your desk telephone will no longer light to alert you of a new message.

  • You can continue to retrieve and manage your voicemails from the web using CallXpress Web PhoneManager after requesting Unified Messaging.
