Wi-Fi Roaming Service With Eduroam

Eduroam is a world-wide Wi-Fi roaming service that allows you to access the internet at any participating institution across the globe using your Odin account username and password. Members of other institutions can also access the internet on PSU's campus using their own school credentials.

Note: You will need to use OdinUsername@pdx.edu for your username (Replace OdinUsername with your Odin username).

About Eduroam

You can access Eduroam at any of the participating US or international institutions. In the Pacific Northwest, the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Southern Oregon University, and the University of Washington all participate in Eduroam. For a full list of Eduroam institutions, check out the lists below:

Note: If you are a PSU student, staff, or faculty member, you should still use the PSU Secure connection while on campus. Connecting to the Eduroam network won't give you access to the services you would normally need to be on campus to use (such as your H & I drives or Banner).

Connect to Eduroam

Before you connect to Eduroam at another institution, we recommend that you first connect to the PSU Eduroam network on campus, using the device that you plan to use on your travels, so that any issues can be resolved prior to your departure.

To connect to Eduroam, do the following:

  1. Search for wireless networks on your device.

  2. Choose the Wi-Fi network named "eduroam."

  3. Enter the following information:

    • UsernameOdinUsername@pdx.edu (Replace OdinUsername with your Odin username)

    • Password: (Use your Odin password)

  4. If you get a security certificate warning, confirm that the server name is "radius1.oit.pdx.edu" and continue.
